Hi there!

Thanks for dropping by for a visit. I've heard it said that writing is one of the loneliest jobs in the world, but who else but a writer gets to hang out with so many imaginary friends? And real ones, too! So welcome to my author page. Please enjoy your visit, and come back soon.
Writers write. It's what we do, 'til death do us part, and all that. Writers create, imagine, dream, hole ourselves up in undisclosed locations, and talk to our computer screens as if they could talk back. Sometimes they do. And, God willing, we also produce books. Progressive Rising Phoenix Press has published three of mine (#4 is coming soon). Click below to find out more.
Sometime in 2013 I set up an interview with Bob Hamp, then Executive Pastor of Freedom Ministries at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. The interview morphed into an educational session about the power of social media. I credit Bob with bending my arm behind my back and convincing me to start a blog. Since then I've published more than 150 posts, mostly about my latest take on what it means to be a Christ-centered man, husband, father, son, and friend in these challenging times.
I’ve got quite a story to tell. Actually, I’ve got a whole bunch of stories. Guess that’s why I love to write. I have a passion for sharing what I’ve learned about not only writing, but about life beyond and between the pages. I enjoy teaching, reading to, and speaking to folks, from preschoolers to adults, about all things writing-related (and then some). I would consider it an honor and a privilege to hang out with you and share my thoughts and experiences with you and those you serve.

A few years ago, after decades of technical editing for the aerospace industry, I dove into the world of editing fiction and non-fiction aimed at the general public. Since then, I've had the opportunity to professionally edit six books, one of which received a USA Best Books Award in Women's Issues. Who'd've thunk? If you need a super-focused (and super detail-oriented) editor, I'd be honored to chat with you about your project.
